The effect that you see in letters A through Y were all achieved
with Rainbow Thread. Rainbow thread is a poly variegated thread that has a
1 inch change in color where all other variegeted threads are much longer before
the color changes. The regular variegated effect can be seen in the
example of the letter Z below. Each example below is stitched
in a different color Rainbow Thread to help you decide which effects you like
best. The number of the Rainbow thread is below each picture and you can
click on any of the pictures to see a larger view.

Letters can be created as just an outline, a filled outline,
a plain applique or a filled applique. The color combinations seem
endless and these letters can be used to make school shirts, or any number of
